"You can rightly call some of this chamber music, some of it jazz fusion, some of it world… But it’s all beautifully, passionately rendered and stands up to repeated listens that continue to impress."

-Tom Orr, World Music Central

With an emphasis on exciting and unusual grooves, adventurous improvisations, and rich soundscapes, StringQuake has captivated audiences far and wide.   The group formed in 2012 with a mission to use their unique instrumentation (electric harp, cello, and percussion) to surprise and transcend the expectations of their audience.   Althought impossible to classify, the groups stylistic influences include chamber music, jazz, Latin, classical Indian, West African folk, and Balkan music, as well as the many genre-defying artists whom have inspired them.
